Some Of What I "Know"

We have all had experiences and times that we have learned something that we hope we can share with others. Education in ANY sense is the most necessary tool that we have as both individuals and as a society, but if we are not sharing what we learn with those around us, everything that we accumulate has limited purpose. I can work as hard as I want to improve myself and my own life, but when it comes down to the end of the day, I feel no accomplishment if I have not helped another.

Using this page I will slowly but surely post anything and everything that I can remember that I feel may help you or someone you know through touch times, strange moments, or are just curious to know. If I do not know, feel free to ask and I will use any resources to find what it is you are looking for.

My grandfather used to say "use people, but don't misuse them." It took me a long time to realize what that means and now, I have taken it to heart. We all have things to share, so share them.

 National Suicide Prevention Week- Sept 5 - 11 2010

Throughout my life I have been effected by the tragedy of suicide, both in a secondary setting and directly from the death of two close friends.

I am posting here a number of resources through the University of Connecticut, CT state helplines and National Organizations. Please also feel free to comment or ask me anything directly if you have any questions or know of someone who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide.
